REQUIEM FOR A MESSIAH

Everyone recreates Jesus in their own image to suit their outlook, so get over it . . .
REQUIEM FOR A MESSIAH
written by: THE KINGPIN THORNE PETERS

“The divinity of Jesus is made a clever cover for absurdity.” —President John Adams

The Rabbi Yeshua Ben Yussef, a.ka. Jesus Christ, who in some circles is believed to be The Messiah of mankind . . . So, was He man or myth; was He a mortal man or the son of God Almighty, or God as man, or The Word who was in Heaven when God created the universe 5,766 biblical years ago? Was there ever really a living person who walked this Earth as the self-styled Hebrew prophet sometimes called “Jesus of Nazareth” or like so many tales and people written of in The Bible, was he a fictional character conceived by an ancient author who was trying to make an epic point about peace and sacrifice?
There is much debate and many beliefs surrounding the life of this deified individual, but one aspect of this man who came to be known the world over as Jesus Christ is beyond dispute —no one has ever created such a deadly storm of controversy. I mean arguments over the N.F.L. can get ugly and if anyone goes out of their way to be especially denigrating about ELVIS they might be looking for T-R-O-U-B-L-E, but disagreements over aspects of Christianity lead to wars where barbarism is justified in the name of God and His sidekick/alter ego Jesus.
As with all stories we must start in the beginning . . . and we are deep into the quagmire of a dichotomous conundrum as soon as we plant the seed. Who was His father? How was He conceived? Well already we run smack dab into our first piece of Christian disinformation, for the term “The Immaculate Conception” in fact refers to how Mother Mary was protected in the womb by God from the stain of original sin that taints every child conceived by means of sexual intercourse since Eve ate the apple. Mary’s mother and father were both mortal and she was procreated thusly. The birth of Yeshua is known as "The Virginal Birth" . . . since "virgin" was a distasteful word in polite company, “The Immaculate Conception” became the P.C. term that was inaccurately applied to the birth of the so-called “Messiah”.
Once again, and this is the recurring theme throughout The Bible, these accepted historical tales were written about centuries, even a millennia or more, after they allegedly occurred. For instance, it was not until the 11th Century that the version of Mary’s “Immaculate Conception” was written about by the Archbishop of Canterbury’s biographer. For the next eight hundred-odd years, the story was alternately rejected and accepted, fought over and embraced until it finally became officially decreed dogma by the First Vatican Council in 1870 . . . now I want to know just who on Earth did these people interview that revealed this tidbit of information and report it as if it were a fact they uncovered through investigation?
In the first versions of The Bible, the story of Mary, whose name was actually Miriam, is dominant and Jesus doesn’t get in until about midway through the book. It was feared that a religion would form around Mary and make her nearer to God than Jesus and therefore preeminent . . . there are to be no preeminent female tales in Christianity, so early worshippers of Mother Mary were condemned as heretics.
In constructing the tale of The Messiah, the central reason for creating the notion of a virgin birth through divine insemination was to forge a living link between God and man . . . it is a terrible shame—a sin if you will—that in order to forge this imaginary link with God through The Messiah, you must first break ties with humanity.
There is a disturbing tapestry to this story that is seemingly ignored by the authors and readers of Christian doctrine. If you believe that God non-sexually planted his seed in this woman and Jesus was God in the flesh then the bizarre dynamics of their relationship means your Jesus was both her son and the entity that impregnated her . . . yikes!
Mary’s story of virginal innocence in the face of her pregnancy isn’t especially unique. Many unmarried, pregnant women of her era and throughout the ages claimed that they had been non-sexually impregnated by an angel or a god. In Greek Mythology, it was common for the gods to take mortal women. In Genesis it states: “The sons of God came down and mated with the daughters of man.” This story was as farfetched to them as it is now when women come forward and say that they’ve been impregnated by aliens. But these stories have been quite consistent for thousands of years.
What was seemingly a miracle then is common science now . . . you say “Immaculate Conception” scientists say “Artificial Insemination.” Now a virgin can get pregnant without the help of God or E.T . . . all they need is a seed and a turkey baster.
Of course we know of this virgin birth through stories told in three of the four gospels, but it’s hard to imagine a First Century Hebrew woman sitting around with these guys discussing the auspices of how she came to be impregnated. If you follow the story in The Gospel, Mary seems to contradict herself and change her story . . . also quite typical for a woman in her predicament.
Even The Koran is remarkably respectful of the Blessed Mother—in fact Mary is mentioned more times in The Koran than she is in The Bible. The Koran holds that Jesus was born of a virgin and an angel. They call Him "Isa Ibn Mary", which means "Jesus son of Mary", because he had no biological father. Islamic belief professes, that like Adam, Jesus was a sign of God, sent here by God with a divine purpose, but he was not a son of God anymore than Adam was. What’s interesting is that Jesus is proclaimed as a prophet in The Koran, but Jews reject him as a prophet because he failed to meet their criteria. By Jewish tradition, Malachi from around 400 B.C.E. was the last prophet . . . Muslims believe it to be Muhammad of the 7th Century, who was told by God to restore the monotheistic religion of Abraham that had been corrupted by the belief in false Messiah’s such as, but not limited to, Jesus Christ.
The term Messiah, means: "The annointed one". It does not mean: "Son of God".

We will never know for sure when Yeshua Ben Yussef was born. We’ll never get a fix on the exact date, because it is never given in The Gospels. You can throw out December 25, which isn’t even in the running. That was the date for several popular Roman and Pagan holidays celebrated during the winter solstice, so Christianity adopted that date to commercially compete with the other holiday feasts . . . it's always been all about the money. It is difficult to use The Gospels as historical documents, since they’ve been rewritten with each translation and reinterpreted by each denomination, but if you take The Gospel to be gospel then shepherds would not have been out tending their flock in the middle of the winter.
Christians didn’t start celebrating the birth of Jesus in December until the Fourth Century and it did not become the official date until the Tenth Century. Eastern Christians still celebrate his birth on January 6. The earliest Christians of the 1st Century celebrated His birth on April 21, and it doesn’t appear that the date was chosen as part of an agenda so it has the most credibility.
Another anomaly is that the birth of Yeshua is officially listed as 4 BCE. That means Christ was born four years Before Christ . . . neat trick. This gaffe occurred in the 6th Century when Dennis the Little forgot to add in zero years when counting kings back to the time of Yeshua’s birth. On the Hebrew calendar, the calendar Yeshua followed, He would probably have been born in the late 3750s. His execution is thought to have taken place in 3789, which would be 29 AD on our Gregorian calendar.
According to Matthew, Yeshua was born under the reign of Herod the Great who ordered the “Massacre of the Innocents” when he heard from The Magi—also known as "The Wise Men"—that a Hebrew king had been born. Herod the Great died shortly before Passover in what we think of as 4 BCE. However history has no record of this slaughter and genocide of this scale would not have gone unnoted. This story was an obvious attempt to parallel the life of Moses who was at the time the most powerful religious figure in history. In order to be the next Moses, the story of Yeshua would have to have familiar touchstones, so, like Moses, Yeshua was a wanted man at birth that had to flee to Egypt.
The Gospel of Luke states the birth of Yeshua occurred during the reign of Augustus when Quirinius was governor of Syria. Quirinius became governor in 6 BCE and Augustus came to rule in 8 BCE, so this claim has no historical value, unless Mary was pregnant for more than two years.
The Gospel of John places the birth of Jesus in 18 BCE, which would have made Him forty-seven at the time of his crucifixion . . . so much for the concept that putting the four gospels together creates one complete accurate account.
It is only Matthew who tells the convoluted tale of Wise Men following a star to find the King of the Jews and a mass murder of Jewish babies. According to the story, the Magi followed this star for around two years and finally reached Yeshua when he was a toddler . . . they were not present in the manger with the infant, as depicted in pop Christian culture. The specific gifts they gave are recorded as frankincense, muir and gold, but Matthew makes no mention of how many Wise Men there were. Some eight hundred years later, out of the blue, these Persian Magi were given distinctly Roman names—Caspar, Melchoir, and Balthazar —and a whole new fable was written about them . . . The Gospels are one big soap opera with sequels and spin-offs and a whole lot of plagiarism.
It is also highly significant to Christian doctrine that the Magi be of Persian ancestry. At the time The Gospels were being rewritten throughout The Dark Ages, the worshippers of Islam were the strongest opponents of Judeo-Christianity. So in a propaganda coup, these “Wise Men”, who provide the historical confirmation that the Messiah had been born a Jew, were written to be Muslims. Brilliant!

But could there actually have been a Star of Bethlehem that guided The Magi? Well, first of all, a star is a sun, and the next nearest sun is Sirius, so if in fact they saw a phenomenon in the sky it would not have been a star. Also we know by looking at the moon that a celestial body is not over any particular spot on Earth. What’s interesting is that there were many epic events unfolding in the heavens during the indicated decade of Yeshua’s birth . . . though none that lasted for two years.
Haley’s comet made its run through the cosmos in 12 BCE at a time when comets were thought to be messages from God.
On November 12, 7 BCE there was a conjunction between Saturn and Jupiter in the southern sky over Jerusalem that lasted for about 3 hours.
In 5 BCE, Chinese stargazers documented a shimmering orb that hovered in one spot for over seventy nights.
From August 20-24, 2 BCE Mercury, Mars and Jupiter gathered in the constellation of Leo. On the morning of August 21, Venus rose and brought its light to the mix . . . Jesus even referred to himself as: “The bright morning star”. Venus rises with the morning sun every 1.6 years, which is about how long The Magi are said to have taken to find baby Jesus. So it isn’t that they followed the Star of Bethlehem perpetually, perhaps they saw it when they began their trek and saw it again a year-and-a-half later and believed they had come to the end of their journey . . . I’m just spitballing here.
Also in 2 BCE, there were a series of conjunctions between Jupiter and Regulus, culminating with a strikingly close conjunction with Venus on June 17. Of all the documented events, this would have been the most visually awe inspiring to the naked eye.
But if I were to focus on one event in particular, I would look to the double conjunction of Jupiter with the moon and the sun on April 17, 6 BCE in the constellation of Aries. It is said that The Magi looked to the east and saw a clear sign in the heavens that a Hebrew King had been born and thus their journey began. The symbolism of Jupiter—the planet of Zeus—in the constellation of Aries—the sign of Judaism—gathering with the sun and the moon would have been a powerful message to any who searched for meaning in such stellar happenings. It is an occurrence that happens once only every sixty years, so it would have been rare to the observer.
It is also said that the Star of Bethlehem was only visible to The Magi by some divinity, as this celestial conjunction takes place very close to the sun and there were no known telescopes in that era. The term “Magi” means more than being merely "wise" —it denotes a person who has unearthly or magical abilities. Perhaps these Magi possessed technology that seemed magical to the primitives, but commonplace to us.

When dissecting the story of Yeshua, you have to cut away the grizzle to find the morsel. There may have been a celestial phenomenon of some sort that occurred at the time of his birth and if so we now have several dates to choose from. Or perhaps these heavenly events inspired a tale that was passed down through generations about an angel being born under one of these stellar displays. Naturally Ufologists read the story and believe that it was a UFO hovering in the desert that night . . . but that’s for us to ponder on another show.
However the Star of Bethlehem was more-than-likely a product of poetic license seen only by readers of Matthew, because a celestial event surrounding the birth of The Messiah was needed in order to fit the Messianic prophecies of Micah and Jacob and others, so this cosmic tale could either be pure fiction or historical fiction . . . operative word here being fiction. Matthew wrote in the traditional Hebrew style called "pesharim", which emphasized the fulfillment of prophecy, so an astronomical phenomenon was an inevitable plot point as he sought to connect the dots and shove square pegs into round holes in order for Yeshua to fit the bill.

Where your Jesus was born is another convoluted jumble. Now, I can’t tell you where He was born for certain, but I can tell you that He certainly was not born in Bethlehem. Let’s infuse a much needed application of common sense to dilute this biblical folly. Just think of this . . . your wife is about to give birth within days; she is in the final throes of her first pregnancy. So would you pack up the whole family to take a one hundred-odd mile caravan ride through the dessert in the dead of winter to go to a strange city where you had no accommodations? These were menial laborers of limited means, so a journey such as this would have been a financial burden. In her delicate condition, being jostled on camel back would have been dangerous to the baby. They even ended up staying in the caves where the livestock were kept, because they were too poor for a room at the inn.
So why is this particular nonsensical twist in the tale so adamantly enforced as gospel? Well in order for Yeshua to fulfill the Requiem for a Messiah, as put forth in prophesy, he had to be born in Bethlehem. So there you have the ninety-plus year old Joseph taking his pregnant, unmarried, no older than fourteen year old betrothed across the desert to Bethlehem, because he has family there . . . family who evidently turned him and his pregnant bride-to-be away on sight--- especially if he told them how she allegedly came to be pregnant.
Along with birth in Bethlehem, by a virgin mother, it was prophesied that The Messiah would be of the Davidic line, for only a true son of David could deliver the Jews. Naturally Joseph is then miraculously related to David. In fact The Bible audaciously traces his geneology back fifty generations! Are you kidding me? With no records, no birth certificates, and no D.N.A. testing? Of course, yet again, The Gospels list different vines of the family tree that intertwined Joseph to King David. In order to trace your family back fifty generations, you would have to know who your ancestor was about 1,500 years ago.

So there’s Joseph, a direct heir to the House of David and he is a lowly peasant carpenter who cannot afford accommodations for his family. Had he been recognized as a son of David in his time, Jews would have been lining up to kiss his feet every day . . . he could have sold tickets for the privilege and built a castle. It doesn’t matter if Joseph was descended from David anyway; Jesus could not have been a blood member of the Davidic line as prophesied, because, according to Christianity, Joseph wasn’t His father . . . a point The Bible goes out of its way to make quite clear.
Poor Joseph—told by an angel that God had knocked up his woman and that he was forced to continue on with her, even though she was to remain a perpetual virgin . . . that must have been some marriage. Fortunately he was in his nineties in an era before Viagra, so perhaps his enforced celibacy was not a hardship . . . so to speak. Joseph has almost totally been written out of The Bible to downplay his involvement . . . God is the Alpha-Male in this tome. In fact, there is not one quote in The Bible attributed to Joseph . . . seen but not heard.
Though Joseph is not described, somehow his age has been accepted as ninety-something when Yeshua was born; he dies at around one hundred tenish, which is very unlikely considering the average age of a man in that era was around forty. Even at the turn of the 20th Century, the average age for a man was forty-eight . . . fifty was the new eighty. In an odd way, this unofficial aging of Joseph is the one moment of respect he receives from Bible-ographers. You see all the greats of The Torah were ageless wonders . . . though none managed to be immortal, which took them out of the running for Messiah. Joseph was long dead by the time Yeshua was executed, so rather than making him an impetuous youth that got a girl into trouble then died young from a hard life like any other mere mortal, he is aged to give him prominence.
Making Joseph ancient also explains how Mary was a perpetual virgin and yet Yeshua had at least four brothers and two sisters. These sibs seemed to be children at play with Yeshua as they grew up together, which means Joseph would have been siring these kids in his late eighties. Oddly there is no mention of these other children being around when Yeshua was born. The stories in the Apocrypha Bible make Yeshua seemingly older than at least some of His siblings . . . particularly James. But that's why they're contained in the
APOCRYPHA BIBLE. Today, the word "apocrypha" means "fake". When it was derived from the Greek, it meant "hidden". Any story that did not fit the agenda of the council or the court were hidden, but it doesn't mean they were any more or less true than the accepted dogma.

Today, Blessed Mother Mary is extolled as a perpetual virgin, after two thousand years of Biblical rewrites, but in her time Miriam was an object of scorn and ridicule for her blasphemous status as an unmarried pregnant woman who gave birth to an unclean bastard child. Women like her were routinely stoned or dropped into wells, which perhaps explains why they fled after Yeshua's birth to a place where they were not known. No matter how much spin doctoring the many writers of The Bible have created and edited, they could not escape the indelible stain of Yeshua’s illegitimate birth, so they had to find a way to cloak it . . . talk about flipping the script.
After so painstakingly creating a history and a fable to coincide with the prophecies in The Torah, which foretold the coming of a Hebrew Messiah from a virgin birth, to a Davidic kin, it is interesting that He was not named Emmanuel as prophesied by Isaiah. Instead the child was named Yeshua, which translates into: “Yahwei is salvation”. This was a highly significant departure from the name Emmanuel, which means, "Yahwei is with us".
The naming of Yeshua was undertaken with noble purpose. For all time, religious practices included human sacrifices in order to appease God —if they needed rain, or abundant crops; if there were plagues or natural disasters, someone would be sacrificed in the name of their deity of choice to end the chaos . . . preferably a virgin female. Yeshua was salvation and Yeshua would be the ultimate sacrifice to God so that no others need be sacrificed in the name of God . . . Yeshua would not only be the Hebrew Messiah that would deliver the Jews from slavery and protect them from attrition, He would be reborn as Jesus Christ Superstar, the spawn of God, who would be sacrificed for the sins of all mankind, so no others need be sacrificed.
As if to make up for the sieges and wrath God had visited upon humanity; the jealous God of menace that ordered Abraham to kill his son and made a bet with Satan to see how much misery Job could endure without losing faith; for all the plagues and pestilence and a flood that wiped out the whole world but for one family, God would sacrifice HIS only son and suddenly it was as easy as one-two-three to get into Heaven . . . all you had to do was worship the Holy Trinity and give up the monotheistic slogan of the Jews: “There is no God but God”. Christians have invoked an asterisk next to that clause and penciled in the alias Jesus Christ as an addendum to God.
All this controversy and contradiction, and Yeshua has yet to utter a word or take a step . . . when He does, the world will never be the same. The birth of Yeshua indirectly led to a billion murders being committed in His name, or actually under His alias, and the death toll rises daily . . . the most horrifying legacy a minister of peace could imagine. Christians spend so much time praying to Jesus to make their dreams come true . . . it would be fitting if they would take a vow to make Yeshua's dream of peace come true.

Hello KP and all,

If you'd like some more insight into what's happening with the synchronicity of the recent comet and Nostradamus' Lost Manuscript, then pay close attention.

By the way, the world is not going to end in 2012, though certain things that characterize "human civilization as it currently exists" are about to end, and spectacularly so !! All interpreters who fail to appreciate that Nostradamus was a Jew, simply pretending to be a Catholic to avoid the Inquisition, have no chance of ever understanding the full import of his works. This is a pivotal key to the truth.

Look at Color Plate 18 from the Nostradamus The Lost manuscript book. The 17 stars symbolize seventeen 360-year cycles on the Hebrew calendar. The seventeenth cycle started in 2001/5761..., therefore, the 11th through 17th cycles are the pivotal seven cycles (seven stars in my right hand) of the Book of Revelation! The seventeenth cycle is also symbolized as the seventh angel. Notice that 10+7=17?

Revelation 10:7
But within the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as She has declared to Her servants the prophets.

Thereby, the great dragon is being "cast" into the "lake of fire", near the beginning of the 17th cycle (when the seventh angel begins to sound), while wearing Midas' Phrygian crown (hence, the "head of gold"). Also, notice the tail (followers of the [great red] dragon) encircling nine stars and simulating the 13 stars surrounded by clouds on the seal of the USA and the one dollar bill. Notice the link between the US Dollar (image to the beast) and the "head of gold" and great [red] dragon (both symbols of ancient Babylon) !!! Furthermore, there are only nine stars encircled by the dragon's tail, to purposefully symbolize the Masonic , secret-society, and mystical nature (Mystery...) of the USA, its national symbols, and leadership. As part of the dragon's tail, it also shows the USA as a mere adjunct of the Vatican's world empire (Mystery Babylon). Furthermore, notice the sting (dagger) in its tail, and read verses 9:10-11 of Revelation. The nine stars are also directly referencing chapter 9 of Revelation.

Also, its wings are red, which symbolizes shed blood, aristocracy/plutocracy (those of great wealth, power, and greed), and Papal cardinals, all of which are pivotal aspects of its character and mindset ("marks" of the beast). Notice how fat and bloated the dragon has become by the 17th cycle?

Also, the three stars on the back of the dragon symbolize 666, since they are six pointed stars, an obvious allusion to the dragon's Jewish component and historical associations. Also, 6+6+6=18 and matches verse 13:18 where 666 is mentioned as well as the number of this color plate. Likewise, the number three, which symbolizes alternates to the truth, is closely associated with the Vatican and its concepts and power sources (three faiths of Abraham, money, religion, politics, the Trinity, city divided in three parts, third part, three unclean/foul spirits like frogs, etc.)

Also, look at Plate 17 showing the hand from the "five-star cloud" (notice the purposeful relationship to "seven star hand") helping the soldier attack a Pope (Vatican/Papacy). The five stars (fifth angel) are symbolizing the Fifteenth cycle, which is the time of Nostradamus ( cycle number 5, starting from cycle 11), (Joseph's "Eleven stars" symbolize the Second Temple Period) . This is showing Nostradamus (11 characters long...) reaching out from the past to attack the Papacy/Vatican's throat, hence, the source (root) of their words). Notice the following verse...

Revelation 16:10
And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

Following are excerpts from the prophecy I posted worldwide in April of 2006 and reposted on August 11th, 2007, which happens to be my birthday and during the Perseid meteor showers (cometary debris in Perseus...). Notice that Comet 17P (seventeen) Holmes is now in the constellation Perseus?

"Tearful pit dwellers, shaken mightily by the light, ascend from the abyss before a seventeen-star-filled wind."

"A bearded star roars so fiercely that the city upon seven lowly hills quakes grievously, wailing tearfully about shadowy serpentine dens and rocks. Scorched alive by stellar wind, they shamefully drink about double doubled horns afire, long hidden within the golden altar’s simple ark."

Notice that the sum of the digits of 12/21/2012=11?

Also read Nostradamus' Quatrain 2:41...

Here is Wisdom !!

i think it shows how foolish people are to begin to think they can understand God and try to write the history of God with simple stories to make sense out of things unbelievable. Christians are pagans because they worship Jesus, not God. You can only be a Christian if you believe God had a child out of wedlock, which he claims is a sin. When you called the conception of the savior the "Immaculate Rape" I just laughed. It always sounded that way to me as well. HE never asked mary if she wanted to have a child and be impregnated however God did it. It is a shame people die over this nonsense.

In his day, Jesus was not the big religious star, it was John the Baptist. Since little was known of Jesus, more stories about him could be told and scholars wrote him the way they wanted him to be. maybe they were trying to help, but it has never been a help to mankind.

Very good.

Leave it to you to attack jesus on Christmas. You never tire of referring to God as mythical. i'm sure He will make Himself real for you when you stand before Him with nothing but your Atheist propaganda. It will be too late to change your ways and God will take care of you. Jesus gave his life on the cross for our sins and the biggest sin is turnin your back on Jesus and speaking against him.

It should be open season on Atheists during the 12 days of Christmas for their evil blasphemy. You may not say you worship satan, but your practices make you his servant. Hell is waiting for satan's servants.

Don't you love it when the Christians make your point for you. If you disagree with them they threaten that God will get you, but in reality they are the ones that do the dirty work in God's name. God may be real and he may be great, but we'll never find out as long as Christians are the ones representing HIM here on earth.

Allah or Jesus?*
by Rick Mathes

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths who explained their belief systems.

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say.

The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video. After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.

When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked: "Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?"

There was no disagreement with my statements and without hesitation he replied, "Non-believers!"

I responded, "So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to Heaven. Is that correct?"

The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied, "Yes."

I then stated, "Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Pat Robertson or Dr. Stanley ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to Heaven!"

The Imam was speechless.

I continued, "I also have problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in order to go to Heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to Heaven and He wants you to be with me?"

You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.

Chuck Colson once told me something that has sustained me these 20 years of prison ministry.

He said to me, "Rick, remember that the truth will prevail." And it will!

* Senders words: I think everyone in the US should be required to read this. The author, Rick Mathes, is a well known prison ministry leader.

The hippie Jesus:
In spite of what the Christians preach, if the Messiah Jesus was to return today, in the image that he is portrayed, he would not be accepted by the masses of the people.

. . . They have depicted him as a Caucasian revolutionary middle-aged man dressed in hippie clothes, talking about love and peace for everyone. People would consider him as being crazy (as they said about the hippies of the 60’s) or try to kill him because he would be a threat to the devil’s economic success.

Money is the concern at hand, not the salvation of your soul.

So let's analyze the origins of this individual and see if there is any proof that supports this claim of a divine lineage for this simple carpenter who ran afoul of the state and lost his life for being nothing more than off his rocker . . .

Hi Thorne,

Well, quite an indictment of Christianity. And all of it true.

Yes, Jesus was offered up to Pilate, because even though the Torah speaks of many things for which one is to be killed, the Rabbis in reality would not allow Capital Punishment. So, in order to get rid of the Rabble Rousing Jesus, Caiphus and his bunch offered him up to Pilate for crucifixion. Pilate was particularly fond of crucifixion and on any given day would have a dozen or so new people nailed to crosses, so it certainly was not a special punishment used on Jesus.

But Jesus challenged the power structure of the Temple, so, he had to be gotten rid of. Not one of the Jews most shining moments either. But, that is the way it happened. Christ being one of several hundred people who claimed to be the Messiah in the 200 years before and after he lived.

Hope all is well!

It is very disrespectful for an athiest to write about Jesus on Easter. It does not make you talented to write something that you know will make people outraged. Your manner of writing about The Lord and Savior, your Lord and Savior whether you care to accept Him or not, was very flipant and crass. It was meant to demean Jesus Christ and no man should feel themselves above The Lord to write something to disrespect His memeory.

May God Bless you, Thorne Peters. That is my Christian response to you even though you have hurt me and all Christians with your words against us and your disrespect of our Lord and Savior. That is what Jesus Christ would say to you for writing this evil diatribe and the other ones you have on here about Christians and Christianity. That is because Jesus loves you, Thorne Peters. You have to accept His love to be saved.

Happy Easter to all who come here. I hope you hear the word. They will not be found in these words written here by Mr. Peters.

Maybe God really is a black guy. Not only did He impregnate her in her sleep, He also abandoned the child to be raised by a step father! With all the stories of how poor Jesus and Mary were, especially after Joseph died, it's clear that God wasn't sending any child support.

This is a letter of response to a woman very dear to me who took exception to this post about Jesus.

Hello Sweet Darling,

As Jesus said, “Our people perished for the lack of knowledge.” Many Bible thumping Christians have been amazed to read these historical accounts of His life, because they are omitted in church services. If someone is going to believe in the unbelievable stories contained in The Bible, they should at least be educated as to their origin. They will either choose to accept reality or continue to cling to their faith, but at least they will do so with full knowledge of their actions and of the consequences those actions have for others.

As you and your merry congregation indulge in rituals of mirth to commemorate the execution of this martyred Hebrew Rabbi, without celebrating His High Holy Day of Passover or keeping the traditions of The Sabbath He held dear, many other denominations use the life and times of this man they decree to be The Son of God as a reason to attack and exclude and kill to avenge Him or to preserve their version of His Kingdom on Earth . . . their most consistent target for this hatred is the very people their Jesus descended from. Wouldn't the irony be that much more hideous if Yeshua's last surviving relative on Earth was destroyed at Auschwitz by a Christian?

Our brave military fighting men and women who do not believe in a mytho God or ITS spawn are being discriminated against and harrassed and abused with righteous justification. Even though ATHEISTS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN IN FOXHOLES!

If only everyone used their religious beliefs as a security blanket to bring them comfort in this big old scary random life, I would not be the one to tear it from them. But I will never stop railing against any institution that gathers to preach that other fellow human beings are going to Hell or are damned, or cursed, or unequally yolk in these United Blessed States because they do not share the same vapid religious outlook as they do. And those who join this institutionalized cult, knowing the dread and death they have imposed in the name of their concept of Christianity on millions of people for thousands of years, will only be judged by the actions of the worst of the flock. So I make certain that no one has to make this decision uninformed, because the knowledge was suppressed by religious zealots who march through this world as Christian soldiers.

In many ways, my goal is to restore the greatness of my fellow Hebrew master, by eradicating the stain of mythology surrounding His name. Too many people that He loved have been desecrated through the ages in order to support untruths that were used as an agenda to politically perpetuate religion. First and foremost is Mary of Magdala the woman who was undoubtedly the wife of Yeshua, who is forever remembered as the whore at the well. Even The Biblical story makes it clear that these were two different women, but they were merged into one in order to make Jesus Christ a celibate above temptation. This was not done for piety. It was imposed by the King on priests who were willing their tax free property to their children. So from the 8th Century on, priests were forbidden to marry, so any kids they had would be bastards and not entitled to receive their property.

By the Hebrew tradition that He kept sacred, Yeshua would have had to have been married in order to lead His flock, because an unmarried man could not be a religious leader. Unless they were an infertile couple, they would have had children, because in the words of the God of Abraham He revered, “Ye must be fruitful and multiply.” To do less was a sin. Isn't it twisted to note that the aspects attributed to Him in Christian dogma to verify He was without sin, would have been considered a sin to Him?
In the volumes of gospels thrown out by Emperor Constantine at Nicaea in 325 and later by the King James Court in 1611, it was clear that Yeshua and Mary of Magdala were married and had children. But the elders could not allow these stories to perpetuate for purely political reasons, so they were buried and His loved ones wiped clean of history and those who perpetuated these stories were burned at the stake.
The execution of Yeshua was in no way divine; it was merely commonplace. Yeshua wasn't even the first to be crucified by Pontius Pilate for claiming to be a Messiah and riding into town on a donkey to fulfill the prophecies. The story of Yeshua Ben Yussef is that of a slave leader demanding that His people be free of religious exploitation and social discrimination and He was killed by the state in the name of God, because He challenged their authority and threatened an economic boycott.

Perhaps if people understood how and why Yeshua was persecuted, they would have never formed a cult in the spirit of His name that has spent 2000 years enslaving and persecuting millions. The execution of Yeshua was to be the fable used to end all such religiously motivated murders, not the blueprints on how to commit millions more with His name on their lips.

You can't join the Nazi Party and say that you're a good Nazi that doesn't believe in every terrible thing Nazis have done to mankind. There are no “Nazi's Against Hitler” movements. It is the same with Christians. You're signing up for an Un-American organization of discrimination and persecution that can only be thought of as a hate group. I mean the KKK has fund raisers and do community service, but that hardly absolves them of their affiliation.
You never have to hold back when speaking your mind to me about the ways of the world, in fear I would take any offense to that. I would love to discourse about your feelings toward Atheists. As an Atheist, it is Christians and Muslims I wish to speak with most. Atheists never kill in the name of God and one day I would like for Christians and Muslims to be able to make the same claim for their programs. I don't hold the fact that you're a Christian against you, and though I pray that one day your mind is free from such inane beliefs and ready to embrace the epic wonders of the Cosmos, it would never be a prerequisite on continuing my deep feelings for you . . .

So if you have to choose to be a Christian, be the best Christian ever. Just remember there's no real reason to choose being a Christian . . . especially when there are so many better things to choose to be.

Much love, Thorne

Christians don't believe in Jesus they belive in being Christians. They have no idea about the Bible or history, they just want to learn the rules of being a "good Christian" so they can tell other people how to live. The Christians in America are the worst. They read the Bible to find hate slogans and people to hate on. There is nothing honorable about being a Christian. It's about disrespecting others and excusing it with love for Jesus. Jesus is everything, people are nothing. It is a dangerous message.

Jesus is a character portrayed in several individual books that compose the christian bible. The books themselves are usually written by unknown authors with varying levels of scholarship done to authenticate what authors are actually known. Some of the events prescribed have no historical significance and are simply asserted, while others have vague references to the names of people and places. Most scholarship places the books in question as being written lifetimes afterwards with material removed or added on rare occasion.

Like it or not, we must learn to co-exist, because the alternative is not very feasible without an all out civil war.
If we think and act toward our religious neighbor as they do us, then we are the same as they are.

Europe is in an interesting post-Christian era now where barely 5% (in some countries) are weekly church goers, and most of those are the elderly. When they are gone the line will be even shorter. Europe has shed enough blood over religion over the past 1500 years to weaken their trust in the same. The same may come here as well, but we just have to live our happy lives and speak up when we can. Many religious people are not even aware how much added burdens is placed on them just to be a believer, not to mention the tithe offerings many churches require.

My son in law mentioned to me one time about all the gays and what the Bible says about them and I asked, "what do you want to do with them? They are here and every where. Are you suggesting we kill them?" I still wait for an answer. He went on to admit the main reason he enrolls his son in the Christian school is so no one can tell and teach him about the homosexuals. Jezuz, that's where you find them! (I learned a lot about Christians and sex when I managed the porn palace here!) I mention this because if we are not careful, we Atheists can feel the same way about the religious. It takes patience, but I've never felt more confident about myself than I do now as an unbeliever.

Girl dies after parents choose prayer over care

Gannett Wisconsin Newspaper

TOWN OF WESTON -- The parents of an 11-year-old girl who died Sunday from an untreated form of diabetes prayed for the girl's health rather than seeking medical intervention, police said.

According to police, Madeline Kara Neumann of the town of Weston died of diabetic ketoacidosis, a condition that develops when a person's body has too little insulin. She reportedly had not received medical treatment since she was 3 years old, said Everest Metro Police Chief Dan Vergin, whose department is investigating.

The girl's parents, Dale and Leilani Neumann, were unaware their daughter's recent illness was caused by diabetic ketoacidosis, Vergin said. Although the family has no ties to a specific church or religion, he said, they prayed for her and then attributed her death to them apparently not having enough faith.

"It is our understanding that instead of seeking medical help, they chose to pray over her and their faith would heal her," Vergin said.

Madeline Neumann's aunt from California contacted the Police Department out of concern for the girl's health and asked police to check on her niece, Vergin said. The girl, who went by her middle name, Kara, was taken by ambulance from the family's home on Maplewood Drive to Saint Clare's Hospital in Weston, where she was pronounced dead.

Marathon County Medical Examiner John Larson said diabetic ketoacidosis prevents the body from absorbing nutrients. The girl appeared abnormally lean, and Larson said her body was wasting away.

Kathy Ziembo, an advanced practice registered nurse at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, said the condition is treatable and that the hospital treats several cases of it a week.

Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, excessive thirst and fatigue.

"You know if there is something wrong," Ziembo said.

A shortage of insulin causes the body to break down fat, a process that produces toxic acids known as ketones. Treatment generally takes a few days in the hospital, as patients receive insulin intravenously to replace lost fluids.

Neumann's death will be investigated further, and the findings will be forwarded to the Marathon County district attorney's office to determine whether any crime was committed, Vergin said.

Police have not had previous contact with her family, he said.

The girl's mother, Leilani Neumann, is co-owner of Monkey Mo Coffee To Go in Weston. A sign posted Tuesday on the shop's front door read, "Closed due to family emergency."

The Neumanns could not be reached for comment.

The New Testament According to Rook

From Philly’s Notorious RATIONAL RESPONDERS,
A Young Truth-Seeker Who Translated the Bible from Greek

New York, August 6, 2008—

You may know them as the notorious Rational Response Squad, famous for the Blasphemy Challenge, outrageous statements, the Channel 7 Nightline Debate, and public tussles with rap singers. They are our bad boys, the Hell’s Angels of the Atheist movement. But, surprise, they are also self-made intellectuals, experts on the bible, quite rational about what they believe in—and courageous enough to put it on the air. They are Howard Stern turned into Sam Harris; they are the blue-collar Dawkinses, the leather Dennetts and, man…they are good.

Rook Hawkins comes to us from this milieu. Rook, 25, wanted to become a priest when he was attending a catholic high school in Pennsylvania near the Jersey border. But a friendly, disenchanted priest quietly gave him St. Augustine, Thomas Aquinas to read. “I was getting different perspectives from them about the bible and it wasn’t matching what I was reading in the bible,” he says. It opened the young, would-be seminarian’s eyes. And one day, Rook, becoming disenchanted with christianity itself, refused to stand for prayer in his high school theology class.

Well, you know the drill: First he was exiled to the library during the theology class for the whole semester. (“I learned a lot more there than I did in class”), then he was “kicked out” of the catholic school. But his library habit persisted. “I had a deep-rooted interest in the bible. I wanted to learn why it exists, how it was formed, what was the process of canonization, who wrote the books of the bible, what was their intention.” He studied the bible intensively, perusing outside sources, ancient texts, monographs, teaching himself Greek so he could translate the New Testament from the Greek. “I spent a few years translating the new testament from the Greek,” he notes, a bit modestly. Wait a minute. That’s like a Hell’s Angel taking up crochet.

Atheism’s First Online Radio Show

When he was 20, Rook met Brian Sapient and the rest is history. Their once-a week online Atheist radio program attracts some 600 to 1,000 listeners from 39 states and several foreign countries every Wednesday. Their Blasphemy Challenge, in which young people renounce god publicly onscreen, has gotten wide publicity, some of it good. Today the two young men live together in the same house with their girlfriends, communal style, with their workplace on the main floor.

Rook has never ceased his deep-rooted study of the New Testament, particularly the Gospels. On Sunday, he will tell NEW YORK CITY ATHEISTS why the authors of the gospels wrote them as entertaining Jewish fiction, and why he defends the position that Jesus never existed. This young, vibrant theorist and bible specialist, with an authority born of in-depth immersion in the bible, will share with us what he, an autodidact, has spent years uncovering about the bible’s origins.

EVENT SUMMARY

WHAT: “Spoken by the Prophets: How the Interpretation of Jewish
Scripture Created the Character of Jesus,” by Rook
Hawkins, with a slide presentation.

8. You are a Starfleet Federation explorer in the process of cataloging two newly discovered planets. The majority of the inhabitants of each planet
believe in a deity, but they are two different deities. Deity "X" is said to be not only all-powerful, all-loving, and all-knowing, but the designer of a
marvelously complex and ordered world. Deity "Y" is said to be indifferent, absent, unconcerned with the affairs of his planet, and some even say evil.
Which god rules over which planet?

Planet A: Has apparently achieved a state of advanced benign equilibrium in which there are no viruses or diseases, and only a very small number of natural disasters, which, when they do strike, always eliminate only the
sinful and evil. The inhabitants, both plant and animal, have learned to maintain their existence through photosynthesis, and thus do not have to kill and eat each other in order to survive. There are no "birth defects;" every inhabitant comes into existence perfectly formed and equipped for a long and productive life.

Deity X_____
Deity Y_____

Planet B: Adorned with many examples of beauty and order, it is also constantly beset by hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, volcanoes, lightning bolts, viruses, disfiguring diseases, parasites, leeches, flies, crop-destroying pests and many other phenomena which afflict both the innocent and the evil. Every life form on the planet can only sustain its existence through the destruction and consumption of other life forms. Some of the inhabitants are born with a crippling condition called a "birth
defect", which condemns them to living extremely limited, short, or painful lives.
Deity X_____
Deity Y_____

ESSAY QUESTION

While it is true that there have been and still are many different gods and
many different religions, they are really just the various names by which
various cultures approach the same God. Explain how and why each of the
following is the same God:

* Quetzalcoatl, who wants you to skin a young virgin alive, then put
on the skin and dance;

* Shiva, who wants you to pray over his penis;

* Allah, who wants you to fly airliners into buildings;

* Catholic God; who speaks directly through the Pope;

* Baptist God, who most definitely does not;

* Jesus, who wants you to castrate yourself to ensure arrival in
heaven

* Jehovah, who any day now, is going to kill everyone on the earth
except for his Witnesses

Good one Kingpin. You make a lot of senxse but your dealing with Christian folk and they got no sense---otherwise they wouldn't be Christians.
